It's very good jacket. I bought it for skiing trips to Eropean Alps/Austria, and it performed great on the mountain. It's very warm, yet very breathable, so when you get inside and unzip it you don't get constantly sweaty, like in cheap non-breathing jackets. Front vents are great feature. Much more convenient then trying to reach under the armpit.Now the problems. First is personal preference, I guess - the things that go around your thumb - I don't like it and don't think it's necessary with good skiing gloves. Just one of those fads that one company came up with, and now everybody is copying it, without thinking. Just so they can add one more bullet point to the selling ad. After about month of light wear - those red sleeve extensions look like crap.Now more serious problems - the inside chest pocket - zip immediately got stuck with a liner, and trying to open that I made a hole in a liner. I tried to be careful, but it catches liner regularly, so I just stopped using the inside pocket. And that leaves just one outside pocket for wallet, phone and such... The jacket really needs two outside chest pockets.And when I washed the jacket ( white sleeves got dirty pretty fast) - some of the red trim unglued :(((( And those black patches on shoulders - some corners got loose too. And that is just unacceptable for $400 jacket. It's basically done. It's like a paint flanked on the hood of new Mercedes after one wash. Unacceptable. I will try to contact Obermeyer for replacement, and will update with results...Great ski jacket! High quality materials and workmanship throughout. Excellent design - with most of the ski-related features you would want in a premium ski jacket. Have used it one season, and would definitely buy it again. Worth the $$.Just an awesome feature Rrich jacket keeping me very warm at -10 in the Northeast oday, love it.Great jacket. Kept me warm and dry. Good pocket location. No binding. Good looking too.great fit and as expected is very warmGood features, very comfortable.
